Kiel Classics cannot be called ubiquitous
boats, but they do have friends spread
around the globe.
Their owners mostly have sail boat
backgrounds – which explains why the Kiel
Classic has often been called the sailor’s
motorboat.
At the moment, Kiel Classics operate in
Germany on the Baltic Sea, on the Elbe, in
Berlin and on Lake Constance.
Further 23s and 27s can be seen in Spain, in
Valenica during the America’s Cup series, on
Mallorca, on Lake Geneva in Switzerland, in
Rotterdam (Holland), in the skerries of the
Oslo Bay (Norway) and as far away as in the
Hong Kong bay. |
